Syncronizing Means, Exchanging Data Between two Sources.

Why It's Required ???


Many Times You Format Your Phone .. So, You Lost your Phone Contacts. There's Also Possibility to Loose Your Phone...

So, It Becames a Very Difficult Task to Again Colllect All the contacts.

You Can Backup Your home Contacts, But, When you Lost your Mobile, It Doesn't Work.
So, The Best Way To Keep it in Your Google Account Safely.

How to Do This ???


1. First, Go to Settings > Configuration settings > Personal configuration settings and Click on Add New Profile > Synchronization Account.

2. Put the Following Values in That Setting -
Profile Name: Google Sync

Server Address: https://m.google.com/syncml

Server Database: contacts

Access Point OR APN: select your default access point or preffered access point

Port: 443 (If you are using proxy then put it in port field)
Authunication Type: Normal,
if you are using https:// in server address otherwise secure.

Username: your Gmail username

Password: your Gmail account password

Complete the Profile. After that Hit Done or Press Back Button. A New Setting Will Appear.

2.Now Goto Settings>Sync and backup> Data transfer > Server sync

Edit the server sync to



*.Synchronized data: contacts

*.Sync settings: Personal configuration

*.Automatic sync: “user defined” on/off

*.Synchronization rules: “ As you wish''


Now, you Can Sync Your Contacts Directly to Google.


Note : If you Want to View Uploaded Contacts Online,

> Open Your Gmail Account

> Click On Basic HTML

> Select Contacts Option then Click On All Contacts Tab


Please note that you need data plan to sync contacts :P
